Reiki Level 1 - Saturday 27th April 2024 (online ZOOM) Sunday 28th April ( In-person)
A two day course, with a minimum 12 hours teaching. At the end of this course you will be able to give Reiki healing to yourself, family and friends!
( Day 1 online, Day 2 in-person - you must attend both days to receive your certification!) which introduces you to the system of Reiki. During this course you will receive the necessary 4 attunements to ‘attune’ you to Reiki , awakening the flow of this energy within you and allow you to feel the connection to this Universal energy. The focus of Reiki 1 is that of self-healing and personal development . Once you have completed this two day course you will be able to share Reiki with yourself, your family and friends.
The aim of the in-person day is to not only provide you with all the necessary teaching and tools to complete your Reiki 1 but to also feel like a nourishing and comforting day retreat as well - set in beautiful grounds, with meditations and a Sound Bath to help to ground you and find a deeper connection to the energy of Reiki all around us. I hope you will end this 2 day course feeling a stronger connection to yourself, to Reiki and ready to embark on a path of spiritual growth and healing.

Day 1
Saturday 27th April 2024 - Online teaching via ZOOM
10am - 5pm
During this live, online class, we will cover an introduction and background to Reiki, the theory, history, principles that you need to be familiar with for level 1. The day will also include a number of guided meditations to help you begin to connect with Reiki and your own true self in preparation for the practical aspects and attunements of day 2.
Day 2
Location: Fintry, The Retreat House, Church Lane, Godalming, GU8 5UQ
10am - 5.30pm
In Person teaching, attunements and a chance to practise sharing Reiki at this beautiful location which is home to a range of spiritual teachings and events and holds a very special energy. Situated in the Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with views of the South Downs, the house is set in 13.5 acres of established gardens, with lawns, water and woodland to enjoy. The atmosphere of the house and grounds has been maintained for 70 years in order to provide a nurturing sanctuary for mindfulness and spiritual development. A delicious, light lunch of homemade vegetable soup, cheeses, biscuits, salad and fruit can be provided for an additional £12.50 (Though you can bring your own lunch if you prefer). Vegan options are available on request.) Afternoon tea of homemade cake and teas is provided in the price of your course. You will receive a printed Reiki Shoden Manual to make notes on the day and provide you with all the materials you need to refer back to after the course. At the end of the day you will also receive your Reiki 1 certificate - meaning you can now practise self Reiki and share Reiki with family and friends!*

What are Attunements?
Attunement is what makes Reiki unique from other forms of healing touch and energy work. This ceremony, called Reiju (Ray-joo) in Japanese, is performed by the reiki master during each level to open and expand the main energy channels of the student's body, allowing universal energy, also known as Qi/Chi/Ki, to flow more freely and deeply through them. It tends to clear blockages in the body and can lead to significant energy changes within the individual. Many will undergo an intense period of self-growth following their attunements.
Is Level 1 open to anyone?
YES! Even if you have never tried Reiki before. Anyone can be attuned to Reiki for their own self-healing and general wellbeing benefit. Level 1 is a practitioner's initiation into Reiki and is open to anyone. The focus during Level 1 is on opening the energy channels on a physical level, allowing the practitioner to connect to the universal life force energy. Many Reiki Masters emphasise self-reiki as the goal of the Level 1 designation, encouraging students to focus on practicing Reiki on themselves, thereby working through their own obstacles.
