WHAT IS THE NOURISH AND ROOT VIRTUAL RETREAT? A five day programme run from a private Instagram page that will give you the tools to reconnect with yourself, learn more about Ayurveda and the Pitta - Vata seasonal transition, what to eat, lifestyle considerations and daily routines and Ayurvedic rituals. WHY NOW? Ayurveda divides the year into seasons according to the qualities of the three doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. At this time of year we are preparing to say goodbye to Pitta season and move into Vata season. Any transitional change will trigger issues and possible imbalances in Ayurveda, but this shift from Pitta - Vata season is, in my opinion, one of the hardest to navigate. Heat has built up during the summer months and this can start to create dryness as well. If you don’t correctly prepare the body by cooling the pitta heat and adding lubrication you could find yourself in a mess come the Autumn. Vata season is known for its qualities of yet more dryness, light, airy, windy, and mobile. It can be a time when we see an increase in anxiety, difficulty sleeping, bloating, headaches and aches and pains. It is vital to ensure digestion is functioning well at this time and that we stay grounded, calm and warm.
WHAT IT'S NOT! This is not a diet plan and will not involve calorie counting! No complicated equipment is required and no expensive supplements or gadgets are needed for you to complete it. You don’t need to attend the session live if you can’t do so. Everything is recorded and uploaded to the private instagram page so you can follow at your own pace.
HOW IT WORKS When you join the plan you will receive access to a private Instagram page -this will be where you will find all the information you need throughout the five days. Each day there will be new posts and videos to guide you
- Guided meditation every morning, with an affirmation to guide and shape the day ahead.
- Carefully curated Yoga classes (3 x 20 minutes) with poses to help cool and calm the body and deeply ground you.
- Delicious recipes and home remedies to help balance your digestion (Agni) and help boost your immunity (Ojas), encourage the body to gently eliminate toxins and help the body come into balance.
- 3 Q&A drop-in session with me in order to come together collectively and support each other as a group and to offer the opportunity for you to ask any questions along the way. These live sessions will be available to watch back at any time during the retreat and for a few weeks after.

Saturday 25th September 8-9pm - Guided meditation - a deeply relaxing and calming guided meditation and an opportunity to completely relax your mind + body + soul and prepare your mindset for the retreat ahead.
Sunday 26th September 8-9pm - Group Healing - we will be joined by Catherine Björksten (http://akasha-awakening.com). Catherine is a Soul Plan reader and Awakening Guide and Author of ‘You are Loved - Essential Spirit Guides and Guardians’. Catherine will lead us in an incredibly powerful group healing session holding space for us as a collective and helping to connect us and root us deeply to mother earth.
Wednesday 29th September 8-9pm - Crystal Sound Bowl Sound Bath. Using healing sounds and vibrations of crystal sound bowls, relax and unwind at the end of the retreat. Be deeply nourished and rooted in this powerful closing session. ABOUT: Each month I offer a 45 minute Guided Meditation and Sound Bath for you to experience deep relaxation and sound healing from the comfort of your home. The Baths take place live on Instagram - and once you sign up you will be invited to join the private instagram page which will give you access to the sound bath. The sound bath is offered at just £5 to enable access for as many people who need this healing and opportunity to experience deep relaxation as possible.
